Stacy was a teacher for 20 years. Maybe part mid-life crisis, part changes in the field, she was ready for a new career path. About 10 years ago, she went in to have her armpits and bikini line lasered. It didn’t work! She ended up spending $1,000+ on a package that didn’t deliver results and had to go back to shaving. Sick of the maintenance and razor burn, she tried waxing and sugaring, but the pain was intense, and the ingrown hairs were still an issue. She looked at other options again, and reluctantly tried lasering again. This time, it worked! She loved the results and thought, “I’m ready for a career change. I want to do this too. I want to help others achieve the positive results I experienced.”
With that motivation, Stacy decided to learn more. She discovered the National Laser Institute, enrolled, and became certified in October 2022, especially falling in love with laser tattoo removal. Inspired by her new knowledge and desire to help people feel better in their skin, she returned home and started exploring opening a new shop in her area. From there, Lotus Laser Aesthetics was born.
Driven by a passion for helping people feel good in their own skin, I’m a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to supporting your health and well-being through respectful, personalized care. With an MSN from the University of North Dakota (2023) and 9 years of prior nursing experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to every patient interaction.
I believe in building strong relationships with my patients, working together to create a tailored plan that addresses your unique needs and promotes lasting wellness. My goal is to ensure each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered on their journey to better health.
I’m Nikki Armstrong, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Lotus Laser Aesthetics. I’ve been a practicing nurse for just under 10 years and spent another 10 years working in the allied health field, where I gained extensive experience supporting patients through rehabilitation, diagnostic care, and preventive health services. That foundation gave me a deep understanding of patient needs, communication, and comfort skills that continue to guide my work every day.
Recently, I expanded my clinical expertise into aesthetic nursing and earned my certification in cosmetic injectables and dermal fillers. I’m passionate about combining medical knowledge with an artistic eye to create balanced, natural-looking enhancements that help clients feel confident and refreshed.
