Deka Motus Technology

The Deka Motus is a laser hair removal device that primarily uses Moveo Technology and Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers to achieve efficient, safe, and virtually painless hair removal.

Here’s how and why it works effectively:

1.   Dual-Wavelength Technology

   • It combines 755nm Alexandrite (effective for lighter skin tones and finer hair) and 1064nm Nd:YAG (safer for darker skin tones and thicker hair).

2.   Moveo Technology (Pain-Free & Efficient Energy Delivery)

   • Unlike traditional laser hair removal, which uses single, high-energy pulses, Moveo uses low-energy pulses in rapid succession.

   • The handpiece is moved repeatedly over the treatment area in a sweeping motion, gradually heating the follicle to a damaging temperature. This prevents sudden, painful bursts and reduces the risk of burns while improving effectiveness. The laser slowly heats the hair follicles to the point where they are damaged enough to stop regrowth.​

3.   Contact Cooling for Comfort

   • The handpiece has an integrated sapphire tip that provides constant cooling, making treatments virtually painless compared to older laser technologies. Due to cooling tip, the handpiece is able to glide across the skin. Keeping the handpiece in contact with the skin minimizes energy reflection from the surface. See video below.
